The IT Security Association TeleTrusT was founded in 1989 to establish reliable conditions for the trustworthy application of information- and communication technologies. TeleTrusT quickly developed into a well known competence network for IT Security whose voice is heard throughout Germany and Europe. Today TeleTrusT represents more than 180 members from industry, science and research as well as public institutions. Since 2008 OTARIS represents the regional office of the IT security organization TeleTrusT Germany (www.teletrust.de) for the northwestern Germany and supports the activities of the Trust and cooperation with established regional networks as a local contact person and coordinator.
VDE is one of the large European associations for fields and professions in the electronic and information technology industry. It’s an international platform for science, standardization and product testing – interdisciplinary, closely linked and unique. VDE offers experience, market knowledge and technological know-how. OTARIS supports as cooperative corporate member the engagement of the VDE.
Bitkom is Germany’s digital association. Bitkom’s members offer software, IT services, telecommunication and internet duties, produce hardware or consumer electronics, operate in the fields of digital media or network industry or work in similar fields of the digitized world. Bitkom especially promotes for an innovative economic policy, a modernization of the education system and a future-oriented network policy. OTARIS is member of the Bitcom and actively engages for the fields of digital transformation, IT security and Industry 4.0.
IFIT Free Institute for Security was founded with the aim to form a network of expertise to enlighten businesses, institutions of trade and industry as well as public institutions in the region in matters of IT security services and to promote the exchange of expertise and experience between the members. As an active member from the very first moment, OTARIS supports the activities of IFIT.
